Marni Moreau is running for Mayor of The Town of the Blue Mountains.
Raised in Clarksburg and a graduate of Beaver Valley Elementary and Georgian Bay Secondary, Marni Moreau believes leadership starts with listening, showing up, and doing the work.
With deep local roots and 25+ years of experience building partnerships and delivering results, she’s ready to bring steady, practical leadership to Town Hall.
25+ years in senior sales and media partnerships—building trust and getting deals done
Grew her advertising portfolio at Rogers Sportsnet by 40%+
National top-performer in sales at CMH Heli-Skiing
Co-founder, Blue Mountain Film and Media Festival (now in its fifth year)
Marni earned an Honours degree in History from Western and spent time working in Japan before building her career. She excelled in high-stakes media and sales, managing partnerships for brands like Tim Hortons, Ford, and TD Bank. She later returned home to raise her blended family of four boys, committed to the kind of community where neighbours look out for each other. She’s also a non-denominational wedding officiant, helping people mark life’s biggest moments.
Service runs in her family. Her father, Peter Moreau, served as a councillor and helped lead fundraising for the Beaver Valley Community Centre, Moreau Park, and the L.E. Shore Library. Her mother, Barbara, worked as an RN at Errinrung and volunteered for Beaver Valley Outreach and the Beaver Valley Athletic Association.
As Mayor, Marni will lead with respect, transparency, and fiscal responsibility—bringing people together to solve problems and make decisions that stand the test of time. She’ll focus full-time on responsible growth, protecting what makes our community special, and delivering value for taxpayers—full-time and part-time residents, families and seniors, east to west—because everyone deserves to feel heard and represented.
