Your support helps Marni reach more residents, share her vision, and run a strong, people‑focused campaign for Mayor of the Town of The Blue Mountains. Every contribution — large or small — goes directly into campaign activities like voter outreach, community events, literature, and signs.
How to Contribute
You can contribute by online payment, e‑transfer, cheque, or small‑amount cash. Under Ontario’s municipal rules:
Only individuals who are residents of Ontario can donate to a municipal candidate.
The maximum you can contribute is $1,200 per person to Marni’s campaign, and no more than $5,000 total to all candidates running for offices on the same council.
Only contributions of $25 or less can be made in cash. Cash contributions greater than $25 are not allowed and must be returned or paid to the clerk.
Marni’s campaign also caps total cash contributions at $100 per person for the entire campaign. Above $25, contributions must be made by cheque, e‑transfer, debit, credit card, or another traceable method.
Transparency Note
All contributions are deposited into a separate campaign bank account and recorded in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 and the 2026 candidates’ guide. Contributions to municipal campaigns are not eligible for an income‑tax credit or tax deduction. A campaign financial statement will be filed with the Town Clerk after the election and made publicly available.
